As an Austin portrait photographer, I was recently asked by the owners of Tomlinson's, an Austin, Texas based pet food and supply store to create marketing imagery for their business. My husband and I take several trips a month to the Lakeway location to support our.. eh hem...five pets so I know at least one or two of the many locations quite well. Since most of my work is comprised of commissioned portrait photography in homes and on location, this job was a little different. So...while these were not dog or children portraits specifically, I was thrilled to collaborate and creatively capture imagery to help promote this business that is quite supportive in the Austin community. I'd like to share some of the images that resulted from this project. Many of the images were created at the very first location off of Airport Road. Special thanks to the helpful staff and customers who willingly participated in the photography– especially Mary Kay with her sweet dog, Caleb and local realtor Lisa Butler and her adorable dog, Pablo who can be seen shopping in the Lakeway store for colorful dog collars!
