I am thrilled to have the opportunity to photograph for the Austin Humane Society 2011 Alumni Calendar! It was great fun to meet and photograph "Athena," a sweet and loving long-haired cat, and "Einstein," an incredibly smart and gentle American Pit-bull terrier mix. These two lovable four-legged pets are featured in the months of April and August. I highly value the chance to volunteer my photography for projects that promote awareness for animal causes and this was no exception. Both of these precious animals were rescued from the Austin Humane Society and are fortunate to have found loving families. I strongly encourage considering a visit to a local shelter when you are looking for a new pet.I appreciated the opportunity to photograph for this project here in Austin and I look forward to working with the humane society on future projects!
