Participating in New Mexico's Heart Gallery program has been an incredibly unique and touching experience. The Heart Gallery program calls upon many talented photographers to donate their time and talent for the purposes of helping children who have been in foster care and are looking for permanent homes. The portraits are then exhibited to share the remarkable qualities of each child in hopes that a connection is made with the viewer that ultimately results in finding a loving forever home for that child.I'd like to share with you, an invitation to the Opening Reception of Santa Fe's First Permanent Heart Gallery Exhibit. This event celebrates the unveiling of the 2010 Heart Gallery of New Mexico in a space donated by CHRISTUS St. Vincent's Regional Medical Center. The reception is FREE and open to the public so please join us for refreshments, entertainment and special guest speakers on Friday, February 26th 2010 at 4:30pm at 455 St. Michael's Drive, Santa Fe, New Mexico in the lower level lobby (outside the cafeteria). I hope you can make it! I've included a copy of the invitation below, followed by images of some of the incredible children I have had the great fortune to meet and photograph for the Heart Gallery.
