Love Letters- an ongoing project
I've always enjoyed writing letters, for they allow me to express my sincere gratitude and love for others without interruption. I love the way letters connect reader and writer and become keepsakes, monuments to the unique relationships we all possess. Yes, in a busy world, thoughtful letter writing seems to occur less and less.
And so, for this on-going project, I am asking people I photograph to write love letters to their most treasured; take the time to express themselves using their own written words. It is my desire to then incorporate these letters into their photographic portraits in hopes that they will become heirloom art pieces that are treasured forever.
